The best ambient takes you away to a place, either in memory real or imagined while simultaneously suspending time during listening. Robert's field recordings comparatively high in the mix with his synths create such an encompassing sound, that when you lock in transport is inevitable. DataObscura consistently releases this type of music. I will be exploring more for sure.
